Representing purchasing progression on graph

I need to illustrate how much by and when my product is being purchased in a
percentage (ie. working towards 100%). How can I do this? Everything I try
ends up having lots of different bars or lines. Ideally I would like a
cylinder or pyramid with a data sheet that can be added to as and when.
