REPRODUCIBLE BUG: Videos from Windows PPT 2003 don't play (audio OK)

Derek Tom

REPRODUCIBLE BUG:

With a presentation created in PowerPoint 2003 Win containing an MPEG is
opened in PowerPoint 2004 Mac, MPEG cannot be played using Movie
Toolbar (Play/Pause button grayed out) and when in Slideshow, only audio
plays, no video (black box only).

Any fixes?

Thanks,
Derek

Hi Derek,

PowerPoint turns MP3 playback over to QuickTime.

It's possible you don't have the right codec to play the file. Can you open
the file in QuickTime outside of PowerPoint?
