REQ: is there a way to select a line of txt and then insert symbols or predefined letters in front a

i have a macro that creates a predefined area to write in, i just
write whatever i need between the symbols, but i wonder if there is a
quick way to do it with already written text?

whenever something functions without a hitch i get surprised...its a
side effect of being an extreme pessimist...the plus side is that im
never disappointed..thx again i have lots of text i need to fix up
the "talkbubbles" in (im sure when i get a real author i will learn
the proper name for it)
