Installed an audio program on a computer that has Office 2000. Computer has
Vista installed. When I went to run the program it was looking for
OWC10.msi, and Office 2003 cd. I did put in an Office 2003 cd that had the
requested file, but after searching it reported something about the requested
file on remote network. I downloaded the file onto a flash drive and pointed
the location to the flash drive but same problem.
I installed 'true speech' on Vista and the program will now produce audio.
However, every time the program is started it goes through at least 3
attempts at trying to locate OWC10 and requesting 2003 cd. Repeated 'cancel'
commands gets past all the popups, and then the program will funtion.
I tried clicking on the downloaded OWC10.msi to see if it would install
directly. It tried but reported that it could not locate a cab file in 'True
Speech'.
How do I stop the repeated requests for OWC10.msi at startup, since I
already have 'True Speech working on Vista?
Thanks
