"Request Password Reset" does not work

After I press the "Request Password Reset", a pop-up tells me that
an e-mail was sent to "my_valid_account"@hotmail.com
with the temporary password...

Unfortunately, it never get to my account.
What do I miss?

Do you know if my original would still be valid if I happen to remember it?
I'm afraid I could remember it but it is too late

Hi -

I susect that Hotmail's spam trapping might be intercepting your email.

As answer to your second question.

I had the same thing ones. Pressed the forgot password link and I remembered
my old password.
I type the old password and presto it worked. The time between Forgot
Password and remembering the old one was like 20 seconds. But it worked.
