Requested Site is either Unavailable or Not Found

Does anyone know why I might be getting this msg whenever
I try to do a download from any site (any type of file -
MS office docs, .BAT files, plain text files, etc.). I
have IE 6.0 with the latest SR. And am running XP
Professional (with the latest recommended patches).

I was working just fine yesterday, but today, I cannot do
any downloads. I appear to have about 6 GB of space
remaining on my hard drive, but I cannot change the
amount of space for temporary interface files
(settings). It's currently set to 0 and when I try to
make it larger, it says to choose either 1 or 0.

I must have installed or configured something from
yesterday to today, but cannot figure out what it was. I
know I added another PC to my network and made certain
folders sharable. I also downloaded a series of PDF
files (without any problems yesterday, but cannot think
of what else I did that would cause this problem).

Any ideas would be much appreciated. I do not have
the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" option checked
(it is unchecked).

Thanks!
Lynn
