Required fonts for Word 2004

The dictionary does not show a definition (nothing is visible in the
definition field), but if I copy/paste from the dictionary to a
document, then it will paste a definiton.

It seems that the font is switched off or switched to white or that I
am simply missing the necessary font.

Could someone tell me which fonts are necessary for Word 2004,
specifically the dictionary -- or offer another suggestion?

Thanks.

I suspect that the dictionary display is Verdana. m.

Matt, you're right -- it is Verdana. Once Verdana is enabled using
Font Book, the definitions appeared again. It is curious that the font
would just disappear rather than use a substitute.

Thanks again.
