Resale of office 2000 pro

If i bought a copy of Office 2000 pro (retail) and am no
longer using this on any machine, can I legally resell it
and let the new user register the product to them?

Hi Andrew,

MS Office boxed retail product licenses can be transferred/sold.
You'll need to turn over the complete, original contents (CD, etc).
If you used it as an upgrade qualifier for a newer version of Office
then the 2000 and newer version are 'a set' and you can't sell only
part of 'the set' if you are following the license agreement.
