Rescaling the category (X) axis

I have a chart whose X axis is a series of consecutive dates. I can't figure out how to change it. I've added more data, so I now have a different date range, which comes from a data table. How do I edit the X axis? I wish to set it to the dates I have in a column next to the data being plotted.
