Last year I got two Dell computers with Office 2003 basic edition pre-
installed.
Using Word on the first computer,
Tools > Research
gives access to a number of reference books: a thesaurus, Encarta
dictionary, Encarta encyclopedia, and others.
But the second one has far fewer books. There's no dictionary or
encyclopedia.
I tried clicking "research options" in the research pane, but the extra
books aren't there. I tried "Add Services" but no help there. I tried
"Update/Remove" but no help there either.
The only difference I saw between the two systems is the Office build. The
first PC has build 11.6359.6360 SP1; the second has build 11.6568.6568 SP2.
Did the later build have books taken away on purpose?
How do I get access to the additional books on the second computer?
