Resending a recurring meeting invite to specific attendee

We have a weekly meeting. For some reason it is missing from a users calendar
- the whole series, not just one entry. How can I resend that recurring
meeting to that user so they accept it? I cannot create a new meeting just
for them, since this gets changed and updated all the time.
