Reserved Error -7711

Hi,
I'm trying to run a make table query from an ODBC & have defined the date
range I need in a form, setting the date to the exact same format as is in
the ODBC, but everytime I try to run it, I'm getting this error message.
Please can someone let me know what it means & how to get around it.

Is your linked table by chance a Sybase table?

I've looked at the website, but am not sure -the ODBC I'm using doesn't seem
to have the options there.
This is the information I have on it:
[ODBC]
DRIVER=TQL Server
Description=xxxx
UnixServer=metprod2
Database=NPRDB
TCPIP=2622
Username=xxxx
Buffersize=100000
Logfile=c:\tqldriver.log
Logging=0
Password=xxxx
