Reset an InfoPath 2007 form without writing code

Hi,
I'd like to include a Reset button on a few forms. These forms are
web-enabled so I can post them on our MOSS site. I am looking for a way to do
this using Rules instead of writing code as I am not a developer. Please
advise. Thanks.

Hey Beargal34
This shouldn't be too hard with rules all you need to do is add a bunch of
actions to the rule, one action to clear the contents of each field.
However if you have a large form this could be very combersome to set up,
and in that instance code may be a better option but it is possible.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Thanks Ben. I only have 5 groups with roughly 3-5 fields within each group so
it's not a lengthy form. I'm not exactly sure how to add the actions to clear
contents, but I'm going to look through my InfoPath book tonight. I'm
somewhat of a novice at IP. Trial by error, right? :)

Ok. So I just figured out how to clear the submitted values. I found it on
the InfoPath Team blog. Pretty easy - just add another action to this Rule to
“Set a field’s value†and the only option you need to specify is the “Fieldâ€
option – select the “Field†node from the “Add List Item Template†data
connection and then simply leave the Value option blank. Rock on.
