reset autoshapes default

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I need to reset autoshapes default, especially the layout (to IN FRONT of text) to place some lines on a picture. As it is I have to do each line individually. If I copy and paste then the colour and size are ok, but the layout is still wrong.
thanks for any suggestions!

Yeah, I guess it seems rather inconsistent or illogical, but when you
copy/paste you are not *creating* a new one, so the default formatting
settings don't apply. The defaults only come into play if you're using the
shape tool to actually create a new shape. To further complicate the issue,
the Layout (text wrapping) attributes are overridden by the Paste Options
settings even thought the other formatting (color, border, etc.) are
retained. Not all is lost, however... it's easy to adjust.

Go to Word> Preferences> Edit where you can change the Paste Options default
to whatever form of wrap you would prefer.
