When I insert a Microsoft Chart in the latest version of Word a small (2 by
3 inch) chart is placed on the page. The default attributes of the chart
(e.g., font sizes) are kept constant when the chart is re-sized, so a font
size 8 character becomes bigger, rather than remaining in its original scale.
Re-sizing the chart simply blows up its appearance. It does not provide
greater charting space.
The initial chart is too small. I would like to have an initial chart that
is bigger in size and when expanded and contracted keeps the font size
constant in appearance.
Is there some way to re-set the default chart size in Word to, say 4 by 6
inches, and to keep font size appearance constant when the chart object is
re-sized?
Many thanks for any ideas.
