Hello Group
We're currently using Sharepoint Portal 2003 SP2 and one of my users had a
concern. He claims that when a document is downloaded from SPS that has a
format he/she likes, he tends to remove the contents of the document and write
his own. However, the metadata from the previous user of the document is
still retained. My question is if there is an easy way to remove the residual
metadata (sort of like a metadata "reset") in a document downloaded from
SPS, so that a user that decides to use the document as a template can then
make it their own.
(My question is more focused towards the actual office document, as I posted
this in the SPS forum and they confirmed that SPS metadata does not get
copied over).
Thanks,
