Reseting the nickname and automatic completion cache in Outlook 20

I followed the instructions in KB287623 to reset the nickname cache but when
I did the search for *.nk2 files the search response was for two Outlook
Office Data file. I could not see an .nk2 extension. Is the Outook Office
Data file the one I should rename so that Outlook will create a new cache?
The reason I want to do this is that when auto complete fills in an address,
it is often the wrong one because the contact's email address has been
changed in the address book but it must still have the old one in the cache.

Nevermind. I just found the directions from Russ Valentine's answer to
someone else on 6/14/07 where he explained how to remove individual names
using delete key. It's working except for the one case where there is only
one person's name that comes up in the list. I can live with that unless you
have another suggestion. Thanks!

Please don't post questions in the feature suggestion box. That's not what
it's for.

I assume that by Outlook 20 you actually meant Outlook 2002 because the
problem of not being able to delete single entries in the autocompletion
dropdown is fixed in Outlook 2003. The only workaround for Outlook 2002 is
to to send a message using a name or address that will add another entry to
that dropdown list. Then you will have the ability to use the arrow key to
select the name you want to remove.

Your search for NK2 files will succeed if you enable the search and display
of hidden files.
