Resetting Categories in a Word TOA

D

Diane Edwards

Using Word 2003, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to reset the categories in
a TOA. You start out with all the regular one's but if you open a document
from some other office or user, it takes on the categories from the other
document and changes them so when you run the toa, you get categories you
weren't expecting to get. So if a user starts a toa with the categories
they've got, then someone else tries to update the toa and they have
different categories, you've got to either go back to the user that created
the toa, or change the category numbers in the codes to correspond with what
your computer has. Either way it's a pain and I don't remember having this
problem in previous versions of Word. Any help would be appreciated!!!!

I never work with TOAs (not common outside of the anglo-saxon legal
real, I think), but I'm also not aware of any changes there.

Of course, there should be a 3rd alternative: create the categories you
need on the 2nd computer/profile.
