Students in our computer lab (all local accounts on WinXP computers with no
server) use Office 2007 and other programs.
One particular program, Gregg's Data Processing (GDP) keyboarding program
uses Word in its processing. Unfortunately, GDP literally changes Word's
Option that we have set for the lab. Tech Support for GDP has no ability to
help me reset Word's Options automatically. Again, unfortunately, the old
Office Profile Wizard does not work under Office 2007.
I have looked at group policy to create a Word gpo with the necessary
options set for the lab that we could possibly reapply after GDP does it
mess. However, all Word's Options are not contained in my word12.adm Admin
Template file (dated 9/28/07). I looked at the excel12.adm template and see
some of the missing Word Options! But Word appends numbers to its settings. I
have tried creating some, but I need the settings' exact name.
* Where can I get an Admin Template for Word 2007 that might have all of
Word's Options?
* Is there a better way to reset Word's Options after another program
changes them, like GDP?...Without affecting how the culprit program does it's
work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
