Hi there,
I'm somewhat new to Visio and my first task with it is roughing out a floor
plan for a work area. I did all my measuring based on where things are from
the wall, how far between things, etc. I used to use Quark quite a bit and
the best feature it had was the crosshairs in the top left corner of your
drawing area being your way to reset the zero based on where you place it. I
see now in Visio it just drops a reference and the only way I can see to
reset to zero is the tools > rulers and grid and typing it in.
Please please please tell me there's a quicker way!? I'm placing things on
the site plan based on where I measured it from the wall, etc. and I just
can't get a good idea. I know I need some training, a book or something, but
as of now I need a quick answer.
Thank you so much.
