A residual is the difference between measured Y and predicted Y. Presumably
you have X and Y in two columns of your worksheet. In the next column, put
calculated values for Y based on the fitting parameters determined from the
XY data, and in the column after that subtract the predicted from the
measured to get residuals. Now plot X and residuals in an XY chart.
