Resizable 3D Blocks

N

Newzilla

Hi,

Does anyone know of a stencil that has 3D blocks (in all three planes X, Y
and Z) that can be resized. Resized so that the depth of the block-shapes
stays the same.

The default Block Diagram (Blocks Metric) stencils in Visio 2003, has one 3D
block in only one plane ... I need the ones in the other two planes. I want
to use it to make 3D design of a cabinet.

A way to create such shapes with ShapeStudio would also be welcome. In this
case I'm a total beginner with ShapeStudio, but help would be welcome
anyhow.

Regards,

Roland

Thanks a lot for replying so fast.

It certainly is more usefull. When I want to change the color of the fill of
the Variable Rectangular I get an error. Any idea how to slove this?

Not sure what is causing the error message, but you can change the fill be
selecting the shape and choosing Open "shapename" from the end of the Edit
menu. Then youl will be able to select each surface, right click and then
change the fill colour.

Did you try the "Blocks Raised" stencil, and also the template: "Block
diagram with perspective"

The blocks raised stencil has various forms - blocks, bars, and L-shapes.
Plus you can right-click the shapes to "open" the ends and place shapes on
top of each other so that they appear blended together.

Hope this helps,
