When I create an org chart in Word or Powerpoint with Insert Diagram, the
text doesn't fit the text box. When I select Format Autoshape and go to the
Text Box tab, the "resize autoshape to fit text" option is grayed out and
unavailable. It doesn't matter whether Autolayout is used.

Hi Bab,

Yes, the Drawing Canvas/Diagram engine
that runs that feature does disable the textbox
auto resize setting and the right click
'Use Autoformat' feature won't help but
you can use different styles oh the text
within the textbox to shrink the text, or
turn off autolayout and resize the text boxes
manually, but that can create some odd routings
of the connector lines.

Hi Brett,

It's disabled by the Diagram application in
Office, unless there's a way to turn it on via
VBA (macros) it's not an available feature.

How can the textbox auto resize feature be turned on?

Thank you,
Brett>>
