Resize for PowerPoint

Hello all,
Is there a way to split up my network path view so I can transfer to several
powerpoint slides, Instead of the entire network path on one slide? When I
transfer the entire slide to one PowerPoint slide, it's way too small to view.
Thanks

Charles,

What process are you using to transfer the network diagram and what version
of PowerPoint?

Hi

One way to go about it is create a pdf of the view which would divide the
view in different pages. Then from each pdf page copy the image and paste in
power point.

Or else from the MSP file only take screen shots of difefrent portions and
paste in ppt.

Not very neat and technical methods, but would serve the purpose.

Hi Charles,

Unfortunately using the Copy Picture option in the Network diagram
view doesn't allow copying just selected nodes. If you or a college
have a screen capture program (Snag-It, Fullshot, etc) you can
capture just portions and edit as needed.

You can resort to the old print screen command (ALT+PrtScn), open
that in Paint or some other program which has graphic capabilities
and then crop out the menus and toolbars. Then adjust your view to
show the next set of nodes, repeat.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hello Darrell, thanks for the reply...
I'm using '03 PowerPoint and '03 Project. To transfer to PowerPoint, I'm
using the "copy picture to office wizard". When I use this method, the
network diagram view is too small to view. When I try and partition the
network diagram by zooming, then use the wizard, it still copies the entire
diagram to PowerPoint. My intention is to try and partition the network
diagram, then use several PowerPoint slides to display each partition.
Thanks for the help

Hello Vanita, thanks for your time.
This may sound like a viable option. How can I export individual views to
PDF? Is there an export link...I can't seem to find it.
Thanks for the help

Charles,

I use a free PDF writer to print project files to PDF. I looked and you can
do as vanita suggest by adjusting the "scaling" in the printer dialog box to
get your Network diagram to print on as many pages as you want. You can
download the writer I use by Googling "CutePDF".
