Resize Navigation Pane

When I open Outlook 2003 the Navigation pane takes up the whole window. I
cannot view my Inbox, Calendar, Contacts, etc without removing the Nav pane.
Is there a way to resize the Nav pane so it is just on the left side where it
should be?

should be able to drag the inside edge to the left to make it any size you
want. If, and only if, you haven't added folders and shortcuts to the bar,
start outlook using the /resetnavpane switch.

I cannot grab the right edge of the pane to drag left...I do not get the
double arrow for resizing. The nav pane takes up the whole window so there
is no handle to grab. I tried the resetnavpane switch and it did nothing.
Also tried reinstalling Office with same result. Any other ideas???

Are you sure it's the nav pane and not the Outlook Today? If it really is
the nav pane, did you try detect and repair?

Yep I tried detect and repair and no change. It is definitely the nav pane
and not outlook today. When I hide the nav pane I can view inbox, calendar,
etc. As soon as I bring the nav pane back it takes up the whole window. I
can only resize the nav pane vertically and not horizontally...very strange.

Are you sure it's the nav pane and not the Outlook Today? If it really is

Vertically? Do you mean sliding the buttons up or moving the actual pane up?
