Resize on drop

I am doing a drawing of server placement in a 42U rack. The issue is that not
all the devices I am dropping in there are formatted to the same size as the
rack
connection points, so I end up having to resize them after dropping.

Is there a way that I can have it automatically resize to the connection
points
when I drop the new item on the rack?

This would be a HUGE time saver.

Hmmm. I tried every shape from my US stencil and they all fit, likewise
metric. Any chance that somehow you're mixing a US rack with metric
Equipment or visa versa? Are some of these custom or 3rd party shapes?

Yes, some are third party. Specifically the ones that I need to resize.

Assuming you don't want to edit these shapes, drag, drop, and re-size to fit.
Then, open a new stencil, and copy the shape to the stencil. Drag and drop
the saved shape to confirm that it retains the new sizing. If not, delete
the shape you just dragged onto your drawing. Then, open the Document
Stencil [menu bar > shapes icon > scroll to the bottom > selecto Document
Stencil]. Delete the shape in question from the document stencil This is
the local, master copy for your drawing. Now, drag and drop your previously
saved, resized shape. It ought to retain its size now. You'll need to do
this with all of the odd sized shapes, but just once. Save your new stencil,
you can re-use it for other drawings.
