resizing digital pictures

When Photo Editor opens, and I resize a digital image that
I have downloaded from my camera, I loose the pixel
quality. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Old Bob,

You're enlarging a bitmapped file? Basically you're 'spreading out'
the number of pixels so that each pixel becomes larger and more
'square' visible.
