resizing in groups

Is there a way to define a aspect ratio to lower all shapes at the same %?
Cause it gets so massy after a while to contol all sizes etc visio seems
to lack some imagination

I try to group all shapes and resize them, then the links(lines) stays at
the same size, which makes them flow out of shapes etc

p.s.: I am using a BPMN Stencil(v1.1)

You shouldn't have grouped the shapes. Just select them all, then resize the selection.
Grouping will cause all sorts of problems.
