Resizing locked text box

I am having trouble resizing a text box in a document that has several text
boxes. When I highlight the box frame to drag a corner the small circles that
usualy appear have a x inside them. When I attempt to move or resize the box
every text box in the document moves. How can I unlock its relationship with
the other text boxes. I am using Word 2002. Thanks

Sounds like you need to do Ungroup (repeatedly until the box you're
changing stands alone). It should be available on the toolbar that
appears when you select the Group of text boxes.
