resizing ? / new user

I just received Visio to see if we'd want to use it for documentation of some
of our database info.

I did Reverse Engineering and have some tables on a page. I took off the
Width and Height protection on a table object to try to expand its size. I
get green boxes everywhere, but when I try to drag to expand the object,
nothing happens.

How can I resize these?

The shape may have GUARDs placed in it to prevent changes. The protections
keep you from thinking that the shape can be modified, but as you have found
that isn't enough to allow changes.

You would need to go to Window > Show Shapesheet and modify the Width and
Height cell formulas to make changes.
