Resizing Pie Chart

I am trying to find out how to resize the "pie" in a pie chart without it giving an exploded view. I seem to remember being able to do this, but nothing I've tried will let me do it now. It doesn't matter whether I drag on one of the handles on the pie or on something else, it still explodes.

Hi glenda,

In order to resize the whole pie you need to resize the plot-area.

To select the plotarea you can either click just outside of the pie or
use the cursor keys up/down to cycle through the chart elements.

If the chart is selected, and the chart toolbar is visible, select 'Plot
Area' from the Chart Objects dropdown list.

Or, imagine that the pie chart has a clock in it. Click just outside the
pie, at the 2 o'clock position (or 4, 8, or 10 o'clock), to select the
plot area.

To resize the chart, drag one of the handles on the plot area.
