Resizing Powerpoint to save as jpg

I need to know how reformat some PP slides in 640x480
resolution. These will be saved as jpgs & displayed on a
TV monitor via a device that requires 640x480 format to
display the entire image.

Which version of PowerPoint do you have? If it's PowerPoint 2000 or higher,
it will save JPGs and other bitmap file formats at 72dpi when you do File,
Save As and choose the file format you want in Files of Type:

So basically you need to reset your File, Page Setup, Slide Width and Slide
Height to the proper values.

640 / 72dpi = 8.888888888888 inches
480 / 72dpi = 6.666666666666 inches

Then do File, Save as and you're on your way.

Or have a look at our Image Exporter addin at http://www.pptools.com for a
simpler way of accomplishing the same thing and more.

.
Save out as .jpg or .tif and open in a photo editor that
can size in pixels (Photoshop)
