Instead of the standard 3 column gallery, I want just one. Fine FP lets me
choose that and reformats the photos and their descriptions perfectly.
But they are all bunched up on the left into a third of page width.
Is there any way I can get the webbot to accept one photo per line on the
left with the text next to it on the right taking up 100% of the frame ?

No, you are limited to the options available in the Photo Gallery dialog.

Thanks Thomas,
Do you know of anything that would conveniently interface with FrontPage ?
I'm preparing a company catalogue and want the whole thing as automated as
possible:
- thumbnails
- two or three text fields for article number, code and description
- arrange the order
- organise into categories

The basic problem is that I am totally ignorant about databases and the
solutions I've seen are all involve having to get into PHP and mySQL.
I don't need a full-power CMS, just a flexible photo gallery for dummies.
E-commerce will never come into it and I'm just setting up the site for the
company to upkeep.

A database is your best option to accomplish what you want. You need to check with your web host or
IT group to determine what server-side scripting and database is supported.

That's the answer I'd expected but I hoped there was an alternative.
:((
The host offers MySQL.
I foresee a lot of late nights mentally struggling with cryptic commands and
obscure parameters...

Thanks for your help,
David
