I am trying to insert a visio drawing into Microsoft Word, by Insert/Object.
I am NOT linking to the file, and can't do that b/c of the way the word doc.
is shared. When I insert the Visio file, it takes one of the lines in the
file and extends it down about 90" for no apparent reason, and i can't fix
it. If I delete the line after I insert the object, teh bounding box is
still too large and can't be resized in Format Object past 22". (I can't
resize the top margin enough either to make teh picture fit). If I delete
the line before I insert the object, it STILL extends this deleted line down
90"! What on earth is going on and why is Word messing up inserted objects
of it's own microsoft kind?
I get the same thing on another file, only this time it just extends the
bounding box down 90", not creating any extra lines at least. But how do I
then make the bounding box fit just around the figure itself and not all this
generted white space it thinks is part of the figure?
Microsoft Word 2003 with SP2 and Microsoft Visio 2003.
