Resolving Circular references

I encounter circular references a lot and most of the time, it takes a long to time to figure out where the circular occur. Is there a way for MSP 2003 to show me all the dependencies/predecessors that caused the circular references? Thanks!

Deluth,
In response to the first part of your post, do you regularly link to
Summary lines? If so, that is the heart of problem. Stop doing it and
the problem will go away.

John,

No. I do not link to Summary lines. I only link to individual tasks. Is
there a way I can see the references, in MSP2003, so that I can figure out
where the circular occur?

Deluth,
It's been a while since your original post and I forgot what the problem
was. Can you even open the file? If not, circular references are
essentially impossible to fix. The best you can hope for is to open a
previous version of the file and go from there. If you can open the
file, do you get an alert with any information about the circular
