Hello -
I had IT set up a resource mailbox that we can use as public calendar
since they do not support public calendars. I configured the mailbox
to "Automatically accept meeting requests and process cancellations"
but not to "Automatically decline conflicting meeting request". The
problem I am now seeing is that if somebody puts their vacation time
as Out of Office into the calendar, the mailbox will not process
anybody else's appointments.
I guess I could just check the "Automatically decline conflicting
meeting request" to at least give people some feedback from mailbox.
However, this will not prevent anybody from scheduling an appointment
as Out of Office with that mailbox.
Has anybody used a resource mailbox as a public calendar and could
give me any recommendations? What is the best way to schedule
appointments with this calenard. Should it just be an appointment or
an appointment "as resource"?
Thanks!
Joe
