A project manager creates a project and allocates several resources to
a task at 5%. One of the resource starts entering time against the
task, the project manager realizes that he allocated 100% instead of
5%. Needless to say, the resource is overallocated since he works on
other projects. When the manager opens the project, he can not change
the allocation to 5% since time has been entered against the task in
project server- I can change the % in the resource box but it will not
stay changed. Is there a setting I am missing? Thanks for helping.
