resource allocation report

I want to report, weekly on resource allocation. I need to be able to show
this graphically. I do not have a report writier.
I have been trying to use the analyze timescaled data in excel feature.
However it seems to reference the over allocated column which to my knowledge
is just a flag that I would have to set. Is this correct? the resource
allocation view is helpful. can I export that to excel?
