Resource allocation

One of the big issues surrounding most projects is resourcing. Is there a
way that I can get a total view of all the resources across the life of the
project ?

I have established generic role descriptions / built the project schedule /
allocated resources.

Now I want to get a resource plan for all resources for all roles so I can
see how many resources I need.

Any ideas ?

Have you tried the Resource usage View? Try right-clicking on the yellow
time phased area to select different info to display and the details option
for even more data to display.
