Resource and Role

I am trying to associate role and resource as we have a business requirement to measure the effort by role also

Is there an association between the resource and the role in Project Server? Is that stored in the Project Server database

role is like developer, project lead, project manage
resource is the name of the resourc

Any help is appreciated

Hello Hari,
Yes, you are on the right way.
Permissions are distributed in Groups and in Categories.
Permissions are allowed, not allowed, or denied at the Group level.
You can manage thes "features" in PWA :
- Admin / Manage organization / Features
- Admin / Manage security / Categories.
