Resource assignments still show deleted tasks

Hello,
In the resource centre "view resource assignments" we still see tasks that
have been deleted by project managers. This upsets the resource totals we
use for our weekly resource management cycle.

These deleted tasks are not seen in "view enterprise resources in Resources
Centre" - "view availability"

Is this expected behavior? WIll "delete all resource task changes" in
Project Cleanup solve this problem?

I have unsuccessfully trawled for information on this feature and our
consultant is also at a loss.

The procedure referenced in the above link will remove deleted tasks from
each user's timesheet and from the View resource assignments page as well.
