Resource assignments

Can anyone please help:

PWA 2003
I need to get a report out of the resource assignment that have time logged
against it. I get the Excel exported with all the times against each task
worked but I need more columns on this sheet eg. job numbers that is already
in the enterprise db. I cannot find a way to customise this. Would there
be an alternative method from Project or somewhere else. I also cannot
understand what the analyzer does or how to set it up.

Any help highly appreciated

To customize your view to get the additional column that you need, goto
Admin -> Manage View in PWA.

The analyzer give you the ability to drill down into different level of
details to get the info that you want on your projects and resources.

For example, you can get resource allocation info that is consolidated
from all projects in the Project Server.

I have customized some of my other PWA pages in this way but cannot find a
view such as the resource assignments

Could you maybe give me a bit of info to get me started on the analyzer as I
need to set it up somewhere and I do not know where. I have obviously had a
look in the admin area but find nothing.

I found probably my problem. I was customizing the wrong view. I needed to
customize the resource assignment view which brings me to another problem.
On the same window the resource assignment and time sheet view is next to
each other but it will only export the timesheet view. How can I get the
assignment view and a timesheet exported side by side.
