We are running Project Server 2007 SP1 and SQL Server 2005.
We have found an issue with the Resource Availability View (in PWA), where
the work hours reported on some days for a project do not match the work
hours shown in either the Resource Assignment View (in PWA) or the Resource
Usage view (in Project Professional). The latest plan has been published,
and so I can see no explanation other than a bug in the Resource Availability
view.
At first I thought this may be a corruption of some kind, so I exported the
plan to an mpp, deleted the project and reimported (with a different name) -
but it still has the same problem. Further, I have looked at another project
and found a similar problem, so on the surface does not appear to be an
isolated case. Only difference was the second project had updates in the
draft database, so I opened the published version in Project Professional
when checking the Resource Usage.
Is this a known problem with Project Server 2007 ??
