resource availability

Hi!
I have a problem.
When I am at Resource page and click to see the Availability graph, i can
see some resources twice.
for example, i see the graph for "name firstname1 firstname2" and the
graphic for "name firstname1" even if "name firstname1" doesn't exist,
neither at sql server, neither at enterprise resource pool.
"name firstname1" have been assigned as local resources in some projects,
but i don't think the availability shows local resources..
i have really no idea what is happening!!!
any idea?
thanks!!

First of all, ask your Project Server administrator to do the following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click Admin - Server Configuration
3. In the permissions grid in the middle of the page, set all of the
permissions to Deny in the Account Creation section
4. Click the Save Changes button

If he/she found those Account Creation permissions were set to Allow, this
means that a user account was created in PWA for each local resource when
the PM published each project. That would account for why you see see local
resources in the View Availability option in the Resource Center.

Also, refer to the following FAQ for information how to properly use local
resources in a project:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/UseLocalResource.htm

Hope this helps.

hi,
the problem was that the AD name has changed, so in some projects the
enterprise resource had a name and in others, another name.
when you open a project an republish, the problem disappears.
anyway, thanks
