Resource availability

I'm having an issue with one, just one, of my resources in displaying its
availability in PWA. When you click on Resources and bring up the Resource
Center, the resource I'm looking for is not in the list. However, when I
click on "View Resource assignments", it is in this list. Because it isn't in
the first list, I'm unable to view its availability.
This particular resource is an asset (piece of equipment). It is in the
resource pool and, since it is Project Server authenticated, I can even log
in to PWA as that resource.
One last thing, the OLAP cube is set to run each morning at 12:00 and PWA
indicates that it is running as scheduled. Any suggestions?

No sir. It's set as a work resource. One other quirk is that I have four
other identical pieces of equipment whose data is showing in PWA. I compared
the one with the other four and the data seems to be the same. ???

Shane:

Try checking out the resource and changing its cost rate or other data. Then
save and close. Next checkout the resource and change the bad data back to
what it's supposed to be. The non-appearance of the resource indicates that
publishing failed when it was first created. Changing the data should force
a republish. Unfortunately, Microsoft gave us no way to force a republish
for a resource.

Gary - I tried this and we're still having problems. In fact, the fun
continues. We're trying to cleanup the RBS information on some of our
resources. We went into several resources and changed the RBS information.
However, when we go into the Resource Center, the changes aren't there. The
resources are, but the changes, no. It seems funny that the information was
initially placed correctly, but, for some reason, doesn't anymore. Is there
an internal process that takes place that might be malfunctioning?

Shane:

Are there any special characters (non alpha/numeric) in your resource names?
How about your Resource outline codes or values, any non-alphanumeric
characters there?

Some have a ( ), some have a period, others have a -. However, not all the
resources in question have non-alpha/numberic characters. For example: Rohr
Jane.
