Resource Breakdown Structure

Hi,

I am working in a large organization with diferent departments. The members
of one department should not be allowed to access to the projects and
resources of the other departmens.

1 - Is it possible to limit the access to the projects inside only one
department, and give the access to the manager of all the departments?

2 - Is it possible to limit the team members for a team lead?

3 - Is it possible to limit the team members available to a project manager
to assign in their project?

Paulo --

1. Yes, you can use the RBS field to limit access to both projects and
resources. Anyone who needs to see information in all departments should be
placed in the Executives group in PWA.

2. Yes. Place the team leads one level above their team members in the RBS
structure.

3. Yes. Place team members directly below their project manager in the RBS
structure.

And is it possible to alow project managers to work with other units
resources, but not be alowed to see other units projects?

Yes, but you would have to change the default security settings in Project
Server to accomplish this. Hope this helps.
