Resource Global - Column Settings

In the Resource Global I have hidden a couple columns and inserted a few
columns. However, every time that I go into the Resource global again, I
have to re-do all my hides and inserts. How do I "save" the version showing
the columns that I want to see?

Hi CQ,

you will need to change the Resource sheet within the Global Template. Once
you have done this and saved the global template, the global resource
template will reflect the changes you have done

Thanks Marc but after I tried that, closed out Project and then re-opened it
and opened up the Enterprise Global, it was back to the default columns that
it always has. So, I had to hide some columns and show some anyway. Any
other thoughts?

Hi CQ,
You will have to make the changes in the global template ( within the
resource sheet of the global template), then save the template, close out of
Project Professional, re-open Project Professional and then you can open the
resource global and it should give you the columns you have chosen in the
global templates resource sheet view.

It is important that you close Project Professional and reopen it again
after you have made changes to the Enterprise glopbal, otherwise you will not
the the changes.

Eureka!! Thanks Marc. I didn't catch it on your first post, which was very
clear but I caught it on your second - that I have to change the Resource
Sheet WITHIN the enterprise global. That worked as you stated. Thanks for
re-posting when it had been clear on your first pass.
