Resource hours for recurring tasks, please help

My project has a daily sync meeting where we meet for one hour every workday
morning. I set up a recurring task, information below:

Duration: 1h
Recurrence pattern: Daily, recurring every 1 workdays
Range of recurrence: Start: Thu 1/7/10, End by: Fri 5/7/10
Calendar: Standard

The problem is that my Task view now show each Resource assigned to this
meeting as having 689h of work apiece. What went wrong and how can I fix
this?

Well that's certainly not what you wanted is it. You can highlight all the
tasks and change their task type to fixed duration (that will fix you at 1
hour).

Now, with all the tasks highlighted, press ALT+F10 to get to the assign
resources dialog box. You can make adjustements there and the change applies
to all highlighted tasks.
