Resource leveling keeps calculating

Hello good people.. can you help me?

I try to level resources in one of my projects. I choose Level Now and
the status bar show "Leveing…" and the word "Calculating…" is flashing
on the top left of the screen. Few second later the program freeze and
needs to be restarted. I CAN bypass this issue if I choose to level
"Selected resources" (even if all resources are selected) and level
will work with no problems.
This happens only in a specific project plan.
Any idea what went wrong…? We are using Project Server 2007.

Since what you are seeing in this project is not the default behavior of the
tool, I doubt anyone can give you a definitive answer. Since this affects
only one project, I would suspect internal corruption in the project. But
given the fact that you can level selected resources only, that might mean
the project is not corrupted after all. Sorry I can't be more help, but
maybe someone else has an idea for you.

I have solved this issue, and will share the solution, in case someone
else face this:
I selected ALL tasks, and in the Task Information dialogue box I
changed constraint type to "As soon as possible".
I have no idea which task constraint caused the problem, or why, but
after deleting all constraints, Resource leveling is now completing in
seconds.
