Resource Leveling not working for Enterprise Project

I'm using Project Pro 2003 SP1. I can not seem to get the leveling
working at all for a Published Enterprise Project. Leveling works fine
when the resources are tagged as local users (non-enterprise). I
created a simple 4 task project using two Enterprise Resources and I
can not level the project. The tasks remain stacked ontop of each
other. The task durations are between 1 and 2 days. The leveling
settings are Auto, Hour by Hour, entire project, priority/standard, and
no checkboxes checked. I tried different combinations and nothing
seems to work. Are there settings on my Project Server that I should
look at?

Thanks.

What version are you running on your Project Professional client. Is it
also SP1? If it is not SP1, it might be causing strange leveling behavior.
I have seen that in the past.

The server is running version 11.0.5614.0

The client is running version 11.1.2004.1707.15 SP1

I'm assuming the server is not SP1 ?

I just upgraded the Project Server to SP1. Still having the same
problem. Did NOT reboot, however.

Both client and server are now running the same version (SP1) and I
can't get the leveling to work with Enterprise resources. Any other
ideas?

Thanks.

Just wanted to post that I fixed this issue. I had to add a hidden
column to the resource sheet view called "Can Level?" All of my
enterprise resources had this value set to "No". I changed to "Yes",
saved, and then leveled the project.

Sorry I didn't get back to you until now. I am glad you resolved your
issue. It is good too that you have upgraded your database and made sure
that your client version matches the server version as this can cause many
issues.
